Getting work done
- When working
at home I love to have my music on and
be rocking out. However, when the phone
rings it's all business and the music
needs to disappear.
Our
automation system monitors the phone
line in our home. As soon as we answer
the phone, the audio in our office mutes
itself. When we finish the call and
hangup the music automatically resumes.
 Get
up and start the day a little easier
- I'm not a morning person. I roll out
of bed and head in the bathroom to brush
my teeth and do my morning routine.
While I
still don't hop out of bed, my routine
is a bit brighter with the music on in
the master bath.
Whole-House Notifications
- When paired with an automation system
with voice capabilities, your home can
announce events and messages over the
speakers thought the house.
We use
this to make announcements such as
"garage open", "welcome home", "cold
outside", "someone is at the door", or
playing custom messages.
Can
I have a sub-zone?
No. Our systems are digital systems with
each zone being independent. We can
write programming that makes the master
bath act as a sub-zone to the master
bedroom, but these will still take up 2
zones together.
